ONE OF THE OLDEST CLUBS
Bankipore Club was established in the year 1865 on the bank of River Ganges at Patna, Bihar and its Founder Secretary was J.P.W.Johnstion. The Bankipore Club, 1st in unified Bihar and also the 2nd oldest club in the eastern India, is one of the few remaining legacies of the British Raj and has had its moments of glory. Legendary writer E.M. Forster who stayed here gave a shadow reference to it in his famous novel “A Passage to India” as Chandrapore Club.

LIBRARY
Library is our star attraction since 1932 for book lover members. Rich collection of old books of renowned writers
SQUASH COURT
Played by players alternate in striking the ball with their rackets onto the playable surfaces of the four walls of the court.
SWIMMING POOL
The pool is well maintained in terms of filtration plant, manual cleaning etc. The members are also guided to maintain hygiene. Club also provide expert trainer both mail and female to train members.
MOVIES
Latest movies are played on every Sunday, repeat on Wednesday, old classical movie on every Friday for our members at club premises in open air screen.
BRIDGE
Bridge is a fun and challenging game to be enjoyed by players of all ages, Club provides facilities to members to play this game, tournaments is our regular features
YOGA TRAINING
Everyday in the morning club has facility for Yoga Training to the members where expert yoga teachers guide how to perform yoga
HOUSIE / TAMBOLA
Housie or Tambola is the most attracting regular event of our club for families every saturday evening Housie or Tambola game is played by the members

Earlier it was limited to young men only but now all the family members follow health routine at our Gym
